Pump Track for Old Basketball Courts in Coonabarabran
Plans are now on display for redevelopment of the old basketball courts at Coonabarabran’s oval complex. Features proposed for the site include a ‘Pump Track’, seating, play equipment, drinking water fountain, BBQ and concrete footpath.

Expressions of Interest - To Enter into a Licence Agreement to Occupy a Part Area of Coolah Depot
A small self-contained site within the grounds of Council’s Works Depot in Coolah with direct access to Martin Street is available for occupation under a Licence Agreement with Council. The site includes a store room and outside compound area as shown in the sketch below.
Footpath Works in Cassilis Street Near Carpark
Council is proposing to undertake footpath works in Cassilis Street near the entrance to the carpark at the rear of the Coonabarabran Town Hall.
Developer Contributions S7.12 Plan
The draft Development Contributions Plan July 2021, pursuant to the Environment Planning and Assessment Action 1979, will be on public exhibition until Monday 13 September 2021.

Proposed Changes Of Dunedoo Waste Facility Opening Hours
Council is reviewing the opening hours of the Dunedoo Waste Transfer station and is considering the alteration of the Dunedoo Transfer Station opening times to being open for three (3) days per week for a total of being 18 hours, instead of 17.5 hours.
Road Naming Proposal - Coolah
Warrumbungle Shire Council is proposing road name changes that involve naming the road that extends from the Black Stump Way to Collier Road as Orana Road, and naming the road that extends from Collier Road to Moorefield Road as Girragulang Road.
Proposed 40kph Speed Zones for Coonabarabran and Dunedoo CBDs
Council is seeking written submissions on a proposal by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to review, report, approve and implement a 40km/h speed zone in the CBDs of Coonabarabran and Dunedoo.

Council is proposing to name the reserve on the corner of Gordon Street and Hill Street, Coonabarabran as ‘Martin Reserve’.
Expressions of Interest – Grazing Agreements
Submissions will be received up until 12.00pm on Friday, 26 November 2021 for livestock grazing agreements on Council owned and Council controlled Crown Lands listed below. All agreements will commence on 1 January 2022 and expire on 31 December 2022.

Council invites interested property owners to submit an initial Expression of Interest (EOI) offering a suitable parcel of land for sale to Council for the development of the new Coolah Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP) within a 10km radius of the existing site.

Council is setting up a Committee to provide advice to Council on a range of issues at the Coonabarabran Memorial Swimming Pool. The purpose of the committee is to assess the condition and usefulness of the existing amenities, buildings, and facilities at the Coonabarabran Swimming Pool Complex and develop a long-term strategy for upgrade and improvement to these facilities, based on existing and future sport and recreation demands of the Shire.
