Warrumbungle Australia Day Closures 2024

Council Administration Offices and Service NSW
Warrumbungle Shire Council Administration Offices, including Service NSW, will close for the Australia Day public holiday on Friday 26 January 2024. Offices reopen at 8:30am, Monday 29 January 2024.

Swimming Pools
All swimming pools will be open free of charge on Australia Day, as per the swimming pool timetable on Council’s website. 

Landfills and Transfer Stations
All landfills and transfer stations across the Shire are closed on Australia Day.

Domestic Waste Collection
Kerbside collection of general domestic waste will be completed as scheduled on the public holiday.

Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre
The Visitor Information Centre is open on Australia Day.

Warrumbungle Community Care
The Community Care office in both Coolah and Coonabarabran will close on Thursday 25 January 2024, for a staff training day and Australia Day Friday 26 January 2024. In home services will continue as required on the 25 January 2024 and public holiday.

Libraries
Opening hours of all branches of the Macquarie Regional Library can be found online at www.mrl.nsw.gov.au. 

Children’s Services
All Children’s Services will close on Australia Day.
