Expressions Of Interest – Grazing Agreements

Submissions will be received up until 4:00pm on 13 June 2024 for livestock grazing agreements on Council owned and Council controlled Crown Lands listed below. All agreements will commence on 1 July 2024 and expire on 30 June 2025.

Please note, holders of an expired agreement must reapply and will be assessed as a new submission.

Submissions are to include a proposed payment, together with a management plan for the nominated parcel describing intended use, pest and weed control, boundary fencing and soil erosion control plans. Confirmation of public liability insurance must also be provided to the value of $20 million, indemnifying Council for any loss or damage. The highest, or any submission, will not necessarily be accepted and canvassing of councillors or staff during the advertised period will exclude parties from consideration.
