Draft Community Heritage Strategy 2021-2024 

It is time to have your say on the Community Heritage Strategy 2021-2024, to shape the strategies that will guide heritage management in the coming years.

The draft Community Heritage Strategy 2021-2024 will be on public exhibition until 14 March 2022. Council encourages residents to view the exhibition material and take the opportunity to submit comments on heritage strategies for the local government area (LGA).

The Community Heritage Strategy contains nine (9) recommendations for local government heritage management that have been reviewed and utilised for the rich heritage items found across the LGA.

The draft Community Heritage Strategy can be viewed at Council Administration Offices in Coonabarabran and Coolah as well as in the local Libraries during normal business hours.

The draft Community Heritage Strategy can also be viewed on Council’s website under the Have Your Say Tab at www.warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au

Written submissions on the draft Community Heritage Strategy 2021-2024 are invited and can be submitted online under the Have Your Say tab on Council’s website, or in hard copy addressed to the General Manager, PO Box 191, Coonabarabran, NSW, 2357.
