During September 2020 the demolition works at the Mullaley Recreation Grounds were completed to allow for the works to commence for the construction of the new multipurpose building.
The first stage of the project was the earthworks. These works included the removal of 200mm of topsoil with approximately 330m3 of ridge gravel brought in and compacted to ensure a slat stable foundation for the slab to be poured on.
The next stage of the project will include the underslab drainage, concrete slab and construction of the shed. These works will take place over the next 6 months.
