The project has made good progress over the last month. The asbestos site assessment report has been received and confirmed asbestos containing products in the building. Registered asbestos removalist and demolition contractors have been invited to quote for the safe removal of these products and the demolition of the building.
The amenities block is scheduled to be closed on 7 April 2023 at the conclusion of the regular pool season.
Tender documents for the new modular amenities building has been reviewed by relevant stakeholders and the tender will be advertised prior to Easter.
