Stronger Country Communities - Round 2 funded Leadville Hall and the Accessible Toilet project which is progressing well, with commencement of construction on 16 September 2019.
Week five (5) of construction sees the toilet block slab completed, frames and trusses erected, and the under slab drainage and installation of the upgraded septic system.
There has also been significant works commencing on the hall upgrades. The new roofing iron and insulation has been installed and air conditioning ducting installed throughout the hall. Concrete works for the extension at the southern end of the building have been completed, with the frames and roof trusses also near completion.
The renovation works inside the hall are progressing, with new door ways and electrical works under construction.
The works are mostly being undertaken by local builders and trades people, with materials sought locally to generate financial turnover to our local community.
