The Emergency Asbestos Management Plan shall be used for the management of asbestos containing materials within the Warrumbungle Shire Council Local Government Area.
The Emergency Asbestos Management Plan 2017 (EAMP) has been developed for recovery phase within the Warrumbungle Shire Council Local Government Area in the event of a disaster occurring. The EAMP has been structured to provide a clear framework, which ensures a consistent and safe approach for the management of asbestos and has been developed with stakeholders such as NSW Public Works (Public Works), Warrumbungle Shire Council (WSC), Environment Protection Authority (EPA), SafeWork NSW SafeWork NSW and community representation.
