Proposed Road Closing Lot 1 DP528474

PROPOSED ROAD CLOSING UNDER SECTION 38B ROADS ACT 1993

In pursuance of the provisions of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given that Warrumbungle Shire Council proposes to close the council public road listed in Schedule 1.

Schedule 1:

• Unformed access road to Lot 1 DP528474, and adjoining Lot 7321 of DP1146573 and Lot 430 of DP753378.  

Upon closure of the road, Council intends to sell the land to an adjoining land-owner.

All interested persons are hereby invited to make submissions concerning the proposal to the General Manager, Warrumbungle Shire Council, PO Box 191 John Street COONABARABRAN NSW 2357, or by email to info@warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au by 4:30pm Thursday 20 April 2023, being 28 days after the date of this notice. Please note that under the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, such submissions may be referred to third parties for consideration.

Once the submission period is completed, Warrumbungle Shire Council will consider all duly made submissions before deciding whether to continue with the road closure proposal.
