Warrumbungle Christmas Closures 2022/23

Council Administration Offices and Service NSW
Warrumbungle Shire Council Administration Offices, including Service NSW, will close at 3:00pm on Friday 23 December 2022. Council Administration Offices will reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2023 at 8:30am. Service NSW will reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2023 at 9:00am.

Swimming Pools
All swimming pools will be closed on Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022, and will reopen on Boxing Day, Monday 26 December 2022, subject to Pool Attendant availability.

Landfills and Transfer Stations
All landfills across the Shire will be closed on Public Holidays. General operating hours can be found on Council’s Website.

Domestic Waste and Recycling Collection
All general domestic waste runs will be completed as scheduled over the holiday period.
All recycling collection runs will be completed as scheduled. Please ensure your bins are placed out the night before as the bin collection will commence earlier than normal.

Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre
The Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre will be open from 9:00am – 5:00pm every day except Christmas Day, Sunday 25 December 2022.

Warrumbungle Community Care
Community Care will close at 3:00pm on Friday 23 December 2022 and will reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2023 at 8:30am. In home services will operate as normal during the closure period.

Libraries
Opening hours for the Libraries across the Shire can be found on the Macquarie Regional Libraries website at www.mrl.nsw.gov.au/ 

Children’s Services
All Children’s Services will close over the Christmas period. To find out when individual services will close in 2022 and re-open in 2023 contact (02) 6849 2184 prior to the Christmas closure or visit Council’s website under each service’s tab at www.warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au/community-recreation.
