Shared Pathway Development Works at Lachlan Street, Baradine

The development of a new shared pathway along south side of Lachlan Street, between Darling Street and Barwon Street junctions will be commencing in the coming weeks. This project aims to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety and accessibility in the area.

Construction is planned to commence on Monday 26 February 2024, and is expected to be take three weeks to complete. We understand that construction can cause disruptions, and we appreciate your cooperation during this time.

Concrete Curing Schedule:
• 0-24 hours: No access permitted.
• 24-48 hours: Pedestrian access only.
• 7 days: Light vehicle access permitted (up to 2 tonnes).
• 28 days : Full access for all vehicles.

To minimise inconvenience:
• Residents: Please find alternative parking and access options during construction. Construction crews will be available on-site to discuss individual needs and concerns.
• Drivers: Please be aware of construction zones and adhere to all signage. Driving or parking on the shared pathway is strictly prohibited at all times.
