Naming of new bridge on Warkton Road Coonabarabran

Written submissions on the proposal to name the new bridge on Warkton Road, Coonabarabran closed on 27 January 2023.

Council considered this matter at its meeting on 16 February 2023 and resolved to name the new concrete bridge on Warkton Road, Coonabarabran the ‘John Knight Bridge’ – Council Resolution No 230/2223.

Signage for ‘John Knight Bridge’ will be installed following construction of the new bridge and demolition of the old bridge.
