Legal action in relation to the Three Rivers Regional Retirement Community project in Dunedoo has been settled with agreement that the Contract with Boulus Constructions Pty Ltd has been terminated under the contract provisions for convenience. It will be a relief for the community that the legal matter has now come to a conclusion, Council will now look to dealing with the site. It has been disappointing that the site has been in a dilapidated state for such a long period and has reflected poorly for such a wonderful community. It is almost without doubt that the structures on the site will have to be demolished. Council has been exploring other opportunities for the site and with Dunedoo being at the centre of the Central West Orana Renewable Energy Zone it is likely that this site can be used to support the further development and advancement of the region.
