Helping our small businesses REWiRE
Small business owners have access to a dedicated Business Coach, providing free support across the Warrumbungle local government area through the REWiRE program.
“Council has secured a Business Coach to assist and support small businesses through these unprecedented times as part of the REWiRE program, which has been rolled out by the Rural Financial Counselling Service NSW (RFCS) network,” said Warrumbungle Shire Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “This program is aimed at small businesses across the Warrumbungle local government area that have been directly impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.”
“This free business coaching service will allow businesses across the Warrumbungle local government area to access one-on-one coaching to help businesses understand their financial position, identify options they have to move forward, and develop a tailored recovery plan,” Cr Doolan explained.
REWiRE has put together a small business cash flow resource document which is available on Council’s website under the COVID-19 banner then under the small businesses tab.
Philip Small is the Business Coach for the Warrumbungle local government area and is happy for any enquiries to come his way. He is contactable on 0409 241 229 or emailed via philip@rfcsnsw.com.au
The service is free and fully subsidised by the Commonwealth Government and businesses are encouraged to call or email to access this service during COVID-19 restrictions. Once restrictions are lifted Business Coach Philip Small will be able to travel out to the Warrumbungle local government area for face to face consultations.
“This is a great opportunity for small businesses across the Shire to look at moving forward and developing sustainable business plans for now and into the future,” Cr Doolan concluded.
