Expressions of Interest for Grazing Agreements 2023-24

Submissions will be received up until 12.00pm on Friday, 12 May 2023 for livestock grazing agreements on Council owned and Council controlled Crown Lands listed below. All agreements will commence on 1 July 2023 and expire on 30 June 2024.

Please note, holders of an expired agreement must reapply and will be assessed as a new submission.

Submissions are to include a proposed payment, together with a management plan for the nominated parcel describing intended use, pest and weed control, boundary fencing and soil erosion control plans. Confirmation of public liability insurance must also be provided to the value of $20 million, indemnifying Council for any loss or damage. The highest, or any submission, will not necessarily be accepted and canvassing of councillors or staff during the advertised period will exclude parties from consideration.
