Dine and Discover NSW – Support Local Businesses!

Time is running out to spend the NSW Dine and Discover vouchers make sure you have received your vouchers and start spending locally.

“To date more than 1,048 vouchers have been redeemed in the Warrumbungle Local Government Area giving the total redeemed voucher value of around $26,000,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “This initiative has been the kick start our local businesses have needed after the relentless years of drought and a pandemic.”

“Earlier this year each resident aged over 18 was able to receive $100 worth of vouchers to spend at registered businesses, with two vouchers worth $25 each for dining out, and two vouchers worth $25 each for entertainment and recreation,” Cr Doolan explained.

The NSW Government introduced this NSW Diner and Discover initiative to encourage communities to get out and about, supporting dining, arts and tourism businesses and stimulating spending within the local economy.

“This increase in spending in our Shire has seen support for our local businesses and a boost to our local economy. With less than 2 months to spend these vouchers it is important to make sure you have received your vouchers and spend them locally,” Cr Doolan explained.

Vouchers are still valid until 30 June 2021. Get spending locally!

“This is a fantastic initiative, not only for business owners, but for our local communities and anyone visiting our Shire, so don’t miss out,” concluded Cr Doolan.
