Changes To Council Business Operations Due To COVID-19

Due to the recent COVID-19 detection in Coonabarabran, the Council customer service desk in Coonabarabran will be closed for face-to-face transactions on Monday, 22 November 2021. All staff are still at work to answer enquiries and conduct business over the phone or by email. 

Council services are being offered under the following special conditions: 

Administration Offices – Coonabarabran 
Offices are closed to in-person visits. Telephone and email enquiries and customer service requests are welcome, and business can be completed over the phone on (02) 6849 2000 or via email info@warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au. 

Service NSW Agencies – Coonabarabran
In the first instance customers are asked to use their Service NSW app to access most services where possible or call the Service NSW Hotline on 13 77 88. 
Conducting business in-person is available by appointment for essential Service NSW transactions only. Please call (02) 6849 2000 to make an appointment.

The Coolah Administration Office will be open for face-to-face transactions.

Other Services affected are; 
- Yuluwirri Kids will be closed. 
- Warrumbungle Community Care Office in Coonabarabran will be closed to in-person visits. All staff are still at work to answer enquiries and conduct business over the phone on (02) 6849 2200. 

We appreciate your cooperation and Council will assess the situation and keep the community updated with changes to services during this time.
