Bungle Rumble

Bungle Rumble is almost here! A free family friendly day out with live music, entertainment and markets being held in Coonabarabran on Saturday 26 November 2022.  

“Bungle Rumble is an event for all ages with live music acts including incredible headline act, The Black Sorrows, locally and regionally sourced produce, approximately 40 market stalls, food vendors, licensed bar, and children’s entertainment,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “This event will be wonderful for our region and it will be great to see our communities coming together and enjoying everything we have to offer.” 

Warrumbungle Shire Council in collaboration with the NSW Government and various other community groups and organisations have funded and organised the new family friendly event in Coonabarabran.

“Council would like to thank the NSW Government for funding this event as part of the NSW Government Community Events Program,” said Cr Doolan.   

“The event is a part of a program to boost economic and social recovery in Regional NSW from recent impacts of COVID-19, by stimulating activity in the events, hospitality and accommodation sectors, and also promote greater social cohesion by bringing people together. With close to 2,000 tickets already booked, increasing accommodation bookings, and community organisations such as Yarn Support Connect, VRA, Coonabarabran Show committee and Rotary coming together to make this a successful event, the benefits of this funding are already paying off in our communities,” Cr Doolan explained. 

Bungle Rumble is a free pre-ticketed event with tickets purchased at 123Tix. Attendees are reminded to bring a chair, and if it’s wet – bring your gumboots!

“With gates opening from 1:00pm at the Coonabarabran Show Ground, this is a local event not to be missed,” Cr Doolan concluded.
