Our Centre Goals

To create an environment where children of all ages, genders, cultures and backgrounds feel safe, secure, happy and loved.

To encourage children to develop by hands on experience where teachers guide and ‘play’ becomes an education in itself.

To foster individual development by planning programs that are the result of individual observations, and child initiated needs and interests. Educators will provide active learning environments, intentional teaching, co-construct with children while they learn through holistic experiences.

To engage children to develop a life long practice of caring for our environment and each other.

We believe that as Early Childhood professionals, we play a vital role in the provision of quality care and education and make a valuable contribution to the lives of children. We act as a link between children, families, colleagues and the wider community, advocating for all children and promoting the importance of Early Childhood Education for life long learning. We believe that developing environments and facilitating relationships with children which support, empower and inspire their quest for knowledge is at the essence of our role. Passion, research, innovation, collaboration and teamwork are key qualities that reflect our commitment to the Early Childhood profession. We believe that strong work partnerships are formed through developing relationships with each other that are sensitive, accepting, respectful and understanding towards each others perspectives.

National Quality Framework

The National Quality Framework (NQF) provides a national approach to regulation, assessment and quality improvement for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services across Australia.
The Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority oversee the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and works with state regulatory agencies to administer the NQF, aiming to raise quality and drive continuous improvement in education and care services

Early Years Learning Framework

Belonging, Being and Becoming - The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) describes the principles, practices and outcomes that support and enhance young children's learning from birth to five years of age, as well as their transition to school.
The framework is a key component of the National Quality Framework for early childhood education and care. The EYLF was developed by the Australian and state and territory governments with input from the early childhood sector and early childhood academics. It has incorporated feedback from a consultation process, including two national symposiums, national public consultation forums, focus groups, an online forum and case-study trials. The framework offers a vision where 'all children experience learning that is engaging and builds success for life'. It has been designed so that early childhood services will be able to develop their own strategies to implement its objectives.
