Warrumbungle Shire Council, in collaboration with its Heritage Advisor and local heritage and community groups from Binnaway, Baradine, Coolah, Coonabarabran, Dunedoo, and Mendooran, is pleased to announce the completion and release of six Warrumbungle Shire Heritage Trail Brochures.

EOI - Section 355 Volunteer Hall Committees

Section 355 Committees are groups of people volunteering their valuable time and service to manage Council facilities, improve natural areas (such as parks, reserves and waterways) and perform functions on behalf of Council. As such, these committees are a volunteer extension of Council.

The Warrumbungle Shire Council Australia Day Awards are run in conjunction with the NSW Local Citizen of the Year Awards. Each year, residents of Warrumbungle Shire are invited to nominate fellow residents of the Shire for the Warrumbungle Shire Council Australia Day Awards.

External Budget Submissions 2026-2027

Council is calling for community input to the budget. All residents, and any interested parties, are encouraged to take the opportunity to submit suggestions for consideration in the 2026/27 budget process.
