Commemorating Vietnam Veteran’s Day

Warrumbungle Shire Council will join communities across Australia in commemorating Vietnam Veterans Day on Monday 18 August 2025, marking the 59th Anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan. This battle was one of the most significant and costly battles, Australian soldiers faced during the Vietnam War.

Road Restoration Culvert Projects Tender

Draft Community Strategic Plan 2025-2035

The Community Strategic Plan aims to identify the community’s main priorities and aspirations for the future and to plan strategies for achieving these goals. The planning process considers the issues and pressures that may affect the community, and the level of resources that will realistically be available to achieve its aims and aspirations.

At the Council meeting held on 17 July 2025 Council resolved that the amended Warrumbungle Shire Council Plan of Management – Community Land 2016 be placed on public exhibition for a period not less than 28 days.
