Youth Programs & Activities

Council works with organisations and services to provide services and activities through grant funding to young people and their communities in the Warrumbungle Shire. Youth services include School Holiday programs, Youth Week activities and events, RYDA Driving Education, PCYC Safer Driving Program, Youth Careers Expo, Love Bites program, PRIDE events plus information, advice and referrals.

There's also Vacation Care in Coonabarabran, the JOBLINK Plus First Nations Art Competition and a FREE Art Workshop at the Coonabarabran LALC.

NSW Youth Week

NSW Youth Week 2026 is taking place from 16 to 26 April. Youth Week is an opportunity for young people across NSW to come together in their local communities. Councils, youth organisations and schools work with young people to host free activities, events and competitions!
