Community members gathered at the Macquarie Library in Dunedoo on Thursday 28 May for a Seniors Information Session hosted by Warrumbungle Community Care.

The free event brought together a range of local services and support providers, giving seniors, carers, families and community members the opportunity to access information, ask questions and connect directly with organisations that support health, wellbeing and independence.

Representatives from Warrumbungle Community Care, Services Australia, the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, Open Mobility and IHCA Physio were available throughout the session, providing information and advice on a range of services and support options.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about local support services, community transport and bus trips, mobility aids, aged care services and programs designed to help people maintain their independence and wellbeing.

The session also provided a valuable opportunity for community members to speak directly with service providers, explore available resources and gain a better understanding of the support available within the Warrumbungle Shire.

Warrumbungle Community Care thanked everyone who attended the event and contributed to its success.

Events such as the Seniors Information Session play an important role in connecting people with information, services and support, helping ensure residents can access the assistance they need close to home.
