Seniors Information Session Connects Community with Local Services

Warrumbungle Community Care, in partnership with Macquarie Regional Library, recently hosted a successful Seniors Information Session at Macquarie Library in Coonabarabran.
The free event brought together a range of local service providers in one convenient location, giving community members the opportunity to access information, ask questions, and connect with support services available across the Warrumbungle Shire.
Held on Wednesday 8 April, the session saw a strong turnout from seniors, carers, families, and residents interested in learning more about local services. Attendees were able to speak directly with providers, explore mobility aids, view the latest Meals on Wheels menu, and learn more about library services and programs.
Service providers in attendance included aged care services, Services Australia, Aboriginal Legal Services, Open Mobility, and Macquarie Regional Library.
The event highlighted the importance of making information and services accessible within the community, while also providing a welcoming space for people to connect and ask questions in a relaxed environment.
Warrumbungle Community Care thanks all service providers who attended and supported the session, as well as the community members who came along and contributed to its success.
