Council Administration Offices at Coonabarabran and Coolah, including Service NSW, will be closed on Friday 3 April 2026 and Monday 6 April 2026 for the Easter public holidays.
Garbage and Recycling Services - Garbage and recycling bins will be collected as normal on their usual collection day. Please place bins out the night before collection day.
Transfer Stations and Landfill - All Waste Transfer Stations and the Coonabarabran Landfill will be closed from Friday 3 April to Monday 6 April 2026 (inclusive) for the Easter public holidays.
Swimming Pools - All swimming pools will be open as per the Swimming Pool Attendant roster which can be found on Council’s website.
Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre - The Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre will be open throughout the Easter Long Weekend.
Warrumbungle Community Care - The Community Care offices in Coolah and Coonabarabran will be closed on Friday 3 April and Monday 6 April 2026. In-home services will continue as required during the public holidays.
Libraries - Opening hours for all branches of the Macquarie Regional Library can be found online at www.mrl.nsw.gov.au.
Children’s Services - All Children’s Services will be closed on Friday 3 April and Monday 6 April 2026 for the Easter public holidays.
