As part of Council’s bore refurbishment program, a new Backup Bore in Baradine is being constructed to replace the existing bore which has reached the end of its useful life.
The works are being delivered over two phases. Phase 1 of the works was completed on 18 July 2025. Phase 2 will commence on the 19 January 2026 and will be completed by 31 January 2026. The works will involve drilling and installation of the bore casing.
The works will be undertaken in the unnamed laneway between Barwon St and Darling St, Baradine.
Residents within approximately within a 150m radius of the site can expect noise disturbance.
