Council is inviting feedback on proposed roadworks on Merotherie Road between the Golden Highway and the Talbragar River.
As provided by section 29 of the Roads Act 1993 (NSW), a roads authority may prepare a proposal to vary the existing levels of a public road. Before making an order to give effect to such a proposal, the roads authority must cause notice of the proposal to be given.
Warrumbungle Shire Council hereby gives notice, to the proposal to undertake roadworks to vary the levels of Merotherie Road between the Golden Highway and the Talbragar River, in accordance with section 29 of the Roads Act 1993 (NSW).
The roadworks involves widening the carriageway, construction of concrete causeways and bitumen sealing the pavement surface.
Plans of the proposed roadworks on Merotherie Road may be inspected at the Dunedoo Library during opening hours or viewed online(PDF, 4MB).
Adjoining property owners are entitled to make a submission to Council on the proposed roadworks.
