At its meeting held on 19 September 2025, Council resolved that the draft Signs as Remote Supervision Policy be placed on public exhibition for a period not less than 28 days.
Notice is given that the draft Signs as Remote Supervision Policy (the Policy) will be advertised for 28 days for comment by the community.
The existing Policy was adopted in 2017. The Policy was developed to indicate Council’s commitment to use of signs as a form of supervision and how the signs will be managed. The objective of the policy is to minimise the risk of injury as a result of activities occurring in a public space, which are not directly supervised or controlled by Council, through the use of signage.
Submissions must be submitted by 4:30pm Monday, 20 October 2025.
Enquiries can be made to Council’s Manager Urban Services & Facilities on (02) 6849 2000.
