The draft CCTV Protocol Policy is now on public exhibition for 28 days.
The Policy outlines guidelines for the installation, use and monitoring of CCTV systems in Council-managed areas. It aims to:
- Improve public safety and security
- Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection laws
- Promote transparency and community trust in the use of CCTV systems
Community feedback is invited until 4:30pm Friday 27 March 2026

What happens next
After the public exhibition period:
- All feedback and submissions will be reviewed
- The draft Policy will be presented to a future Ordinary Council meeting
- Council will consider formal adoption
