Held on International Women’s Day weekend, a local team will be participating in the International Women’s Day Fun Run, raising funds to support women with breast cancer. You can support their efforts by donating at https://fundraise.mater.org.au/fundraisers/skyriver
To celebrate, our anniversary theme will be ‘Purple’, ‘Pink’ or ‘Party’! There might even be cake and coffee for after the run!
About Sky River Path parkrun
Sky River Path parkrun is a free, friendly 5km community event held every Saturday morning at 8am. Some participants walk, others jog or run, and many volunteer or cheer from the sidelines. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to take part in their own way.
parkrun isn’t about racing or finishing times. It’s about getting outdoors, moving at your own pace, and enjoying the company of others in a relaxed and supportive environment.
While the event is free, participants must register with parkrun before attending for the first time. Registration only needs to be completed once. Don’t forget to bring your scannable barcode on the day so your finish time can be recorded. Register at www.parkrun.com.au/register.
