There will be changes to Council Services on Labour Day, Monday 5 October 2026 and Friday 9 October 2026 for the annual Union Picnic Day.
Warrumbungle Shire Council is inviting community members to take part in a free bus trip from Coonabarabran to Dubbo to donate blood as part of the Warrumbungle Community Cares Lifeblood Team.
This group donation day is a simple and meaningful way to support patients across New South Wales and Australia, while contributing to a shared local donation total that reflects the generosity of our community.
The bus trip is free, making it easier for local residents to access blood donation services. Participants also have the option to enjoy lunch in Dubbo after donating.
To secure your place on the bus, please contact the Community Care team on (02) 6849 2200.
Whether you’re a regular donor or donating for the first time, taking part is a simple way to support our community and help save lives.
Find out more at donateblood.com.au or call 13 14 95.
Warrumbungle Community Care organises blood donation bus trips to Dubbo every two months, so keep an eye out for future dates.
If you already donate blood, or are thinking about becoming a donor, you can join the team at any time.
