Mendooran Oral History Project

The Mendooran Oral History Project is a project of the Mendooran Community Development Group and has a target to record 100 Oral History recordings of residents of Mendooran.

The recordings will focus at first on long term residents and ask them to tell their story about their life and times and how that time has been influenced by their time in the Mendooran community.

With support from volunteers the recording shall be edited to a quality level without loosing any of the story tellers personal input.

Our intention is then to ensure sign off on the final version and make the recordings available to the community via Council web site or local community radio

We thank those individuals who have accepted our invitation to be involved and look forward to the development of this project with more residents being involved.
