EOI - Section 355 Volunteer Hall Committees

Section 355 Committees are groups of people volunteering their valuable time and service to manage Council facilities, improve natural areas (such as parks, reserves and waterways) and perform functions on behalf of Council. As such, these committees are a volunteer extension of Council.

Housekeeping Planning Proposal

Council is seeking written submissions from the community on the draft Housekeeping Planning Proposal.

Draft Social Media & Media Policies

The Draft Social Media and Media Policies will be on public exhibition from 23 September 2025 to 21 October 2025 and can be viewed at Council Offices in Coonabarabran and Coolah during business hours.

Draft Signs of Remote Supervision Policy

On display until 20 October 2025

At its meeting held on 19 September 2025 Council resolved that the draft Signs as Remote Supervision Policy be placed on public exhibition for a period not less than 28 days.

Warrumbungle Shire Council Australia Day 2026 Award Nominations

The Warrumbungle Shire Council Australia Day Awards are run in conjunction with the NSW Local Citizen of the Year Awards. Each year, residents of Warrumbungle Shire are invited to nominate fellow residents of the Shire for the Warrumbungle Shire Council Australia Day Awards.

External Budget Submissions 2026-2027

Council is calling for community input to the budget. All residents, and any interested parties, are encouraged to take the opportunity to submit suggestions for consideration in the 2026/27 budget process.
