Warrumbungle Shire Council is investigating the potential for a skate park in Mendooran, and we want your input to help determine whether there is sufficient community need and long-term sustainability for this initiative.

The intent of this study is to help Council understand:
- The level of community interest and demand
- Who would use the facility and how often
- Potential scale and location considerations
- Ongoing maintenance and operational implications
- Whether the project is viable should grant funding become available
It is essential that Council ensures any future investment is evidence based, financially responsible, and aligned with our community priorities.
Submissions close on Friday 3rd April 2026.
Enquiries can be made to Council’s Manager Urban Services & Facilities on 02 6849 2000.
