Labour Day Public Holiday And Annual Union Picnic Day

Warrumbungle Shire Council administration offices in Coolah and Coonabarabran will be closed on Labour Day, Monday 6 October 2025 and on Friday 10 October 2025 for the annual Union Picnic Day.

Other Council services including Service NSW will also be closed on Monday 6 October 2025 and Friday 10 October 2025.

• General Garbage and Recycling Collection: collection services will operate as usual for Monday 6 October 2025 and Friday 10 October 2025.
• Transfer Stations and Landfill: waste facilities will be closed on Monday 6 October 2025 and Friday 10 October 2025.
• Children’s and Community Services: all Children’s Services and Warrumbungle Community Care will be closed on Monday 6 October 2025 and Friday 10 October 2025.

Council may be contacted for emergencies on (02) 6378 5000 or (02) 6849 2000. Offices will be open Tuesday 7 October 2025 through to Thursday 9 October 2025, inclusive.
