From the September Ordinary meeting - Mayoral Minute - Cost Shifting onto Local Government. 

18 September 2025

79/2526 Resolved that Council;

1. Note the finding of the LGNSW Cost Shifting report for the 2023/2024 financial year; and 

2. Authorises the General Manager to sign the contract for the sale of the property 

3. Council writes to the Premier, the NSW Treasurer and the NSW Minister for Local Government seeking that they urgently address these costs through a combination of regulatory reform and appropriate funding.
