Young people in Coonabarabran now have even more opportunities to connect, have fun and enjoy a safe, welcoming space, with the Coona Drop-In now open every Tuesday and Thursday during school terms.
Run by Warrumbungle Youth Services, the Coona Drop-In provides a supervised after-school space where young people aged 11 years and over can relax, socialise and take part in a range of free activities.
Held at the Sport and Recreation Centre on Chappell Street, participants can enjoy afternoon tea while joining in activities such as basketball, pool, table tennis, arts and crafts, or simply spending time with friends in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The additional weekly session gives young people even more opportunities to build friendships, develop new skills and stay active after school.
The Coona Drop-In is free to attend and welcomes both new and returning participants.
