Project Overview
The Jump the Stump Skate Park project will build a vibrant and attractively designed skate park in a popular location at Coolah's sporting hub, Bowen Oval. A professional skate park design and construction company will be engaged to design and construct a plaza type skate board facility for the Jump the Stump Skate Park.
The Jump the Stump committee will oversee the work of the skate park company and also provide voluntary labour as an in-kind donation towards the landscaping, seating and fencing. Coolah's Youth have designed the logo for the Jump the Stump project, have assisted with design concepts and potential locations and are jumping keen for this project to be delivered. This engagement provides them with a strong sense of ownership towards the project. The Jump the Stump Skate Park will be landscaped, include seating, fencing and a water station.
Project Update
December 2022
The rectification of surface cracks and other minor defect works at the Coolah Jump the Stump Skate Park was successfully completed on 18 November 2022. Council sincerely appreciates the community's cooperation and understanding while undertaking these works. This project is now complete.
