Council’s Contractor, Oasis Skate Parks consulted with Jump the Stump Skate Park Committee and provided an updated concept plan to meet the needs of the community. The revised skate park lay out is longer (increased from 25m to 33m) and bigger incorporating an additional area of 57 square metres. With the amendments, Jump the Stump will be a well-rounded skate park catering for more diverse users. The original concept catered only for street skaters, whereas the amended concept design will cater for street and transition skaters as well as BMX and scooter riders.
