Council invited quotations on 1 June for the installation of playground equipment and softfall based on the updated plans prepared in May. Quotations closed on 22 June with five (5) submissions received. Council evaluated the submissions and in early July awarded the project to Forpark Australia.
The final layout of the playground equipment and the colour scheme was finalised in consultation with the Stop and Play Community Action Group during the second week of July. Council commenced site preparation works in the third week of July.
Forpark Australia have commenced the fabrication of the playground equipment and have programmed to commence installation in October.
