Works are continuing at Bowen Oval for the Lighting Upgrade project.
Works completed since the end of March include supply & installation of poles and lighting on the training field and netball courts. This means that there is now lighting to these areas of the Bowen Oval complex that previously had no lighting.
Additionally, installation of speaker cables and conduits for the electronic scoreboard is now complete, as is the concrete footings and slab.
Components for the electronic scoreboard have now been received by the manufacturer for assembly. Once assembly is complete, the scoreboard will be freighted to the contractor for installation. It is anticipated that installation will be completed in early June.
