Coonabarabran Water Report - 13 June 2018

For the week ending Friday, 8 June 2018, the water level at Timor Dam was 22.9% of dam capacity.

As in recent weeks, Council has not used any water from Timor Dam and has instead sourced water from the four (4) existing bores and the Castlereagh River at the Namoi Street weir.

Average daily water consumption for the seven (7) days preceding Friday, 8 June 2018, was 0.52Ml per day. The average daily consumption (Ml per day), by week, for the last six (6) weeks is:

From January 2018 through till the end of May 2018, Coonabarabran has only received 118.8mm of rainfall. The average rainfall for Coonabarabran for the same period in previous years 329.8mm. In May of 2018 Coonabarabran has only recorded 0.5mm of rainfall.
