Changes To Council Services Friday, 15 December 2023

Warrumbungle Shire Council administration offices in Coolah and Coonabarabran will be closed on Friday 15 December 2023 for an end of year training day. Other Council services including Service NSW will also be closed on Friday 15 December 2023. 

Domestic Waste and Recycling Collection
Waste collections that are scheduled for Friday 15 December 2023, will be collected a day earlier on Thursday 14 December 2023. This will be the weekly Kerbside collection for Binnaway Township and the Bungabah Run. Please ensure all bins are out early Thursday morning for collection. 

Landfills and Transfer Stations
All landfills across the Shire will be closed on Friday 15 December 2023 and will re-open with normal operating hours on Saturday 16 December 2023. General operating hours can be found on Council’s Website.

Swimming Pools
All swimming pools will be open as per the Swimming Pool Attendant roster which can be found on Council’s website.  

Children and Community Services 
All children and community services across the shire will be closed on Friday 15 December 2023. 

Council may be contacted for emergencies on (02) 6378 5000 or (02) 6849 2000. Services will re-open and return to normal operations Monday 18 December 2023.
