Welcome to the Warrumbungle Region

The Coonabarabran Visitor Centre has relocated to other premises for 2 months. The address is 48 Dalgarno St Coonabarabran opposite Woolworths. This is due to renovations being done at the building of the Visitor Centre on the Newell Hwy. If you need any assistance the service will still be as friendly and helpful as before but just operating out of new premises, so call in to say hi. All contacts eg: phone or emails are still the same as before.

The impacts of COVID-19 in re opening the Visitor Centre. The Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre is open to the public 9am to 5pm 7days but COVID19 restrictions are in place. Please follow social distancing rules and health guide lines implemented throughout the Visitor Centre for the safety of you and staff members. Alternatively, if you wish not to enter the building please contact the Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre by phone 1800 242 881 or email coonavic@warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au as the Visitor Centre staff are here to help with your enquiries.

Located in Central NSW, Warrumbungle Region is 5-6 hours drive from Sydney, half way between Melbourne and Brisbane, and within 2 hours drive of the regional cities of Dubbo and Tamworth.
