Warrumbungle Region Day Tours

Locally designed day tours have been created for residents to explore and discover hidden treasures around the Warrumbungle Region. 

“Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre has created tailored day tours for anyone to explore and adventure across our region,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Ambrose Doolan. “These days tours are a great way to explore our own backyard and all the hidden treasures it has to offer.”

“These tours include magical sites such a wonderful silo art and galleries, historical walks and museums, bushwalks and hidden lookouts and some of the many incredible small businesses,” said Cr Doolan.  

“With COVID-19 restrictions slowly lifting in our region, now is the time to get out and about, support local businesses and create an adventure within our Shire.”

“When further COVID restrictions are lifted and regional travel can return, these tours will be great for residents to showcase our Shire to travelling friends and family when they come to visit,” said Cr Doolan. 

“These tours are self-guided and are designed to be a day tour, so no need to pack up the car and take off for the night when you can just pop out and visit our own backyard,” Cr Doolan concluded.
