Warrumbungle Free Micro-Chipping Days

Are all your cats and dogs micro-chipped? If not head down to the free micro-chipping days that are coming to you. 

“Council will be hosting free microchipping program in towns across the Shire,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “These days are to promote responsible pet ownership and making sure animals can be identified if they go missing.” 

“All cats and dogs across the Shire should be micro-chipped when they are young. Council is encouraging any cat and dog owners whose pets have missed out on being micro-chipped to head to the free micro-chipping clinics that will be set up in towns across the Shire.”

Free-microchipping clinics will be held in the following locations:
 
• Baradine, Saturday 30 October 2021 from 9:00am till 10:00am
Leash free area (cnr Worrigal St & Kenebri Rd)

• Coonabarabran, Saturday 30 October 2021 from 11:00am till 12:00pm
Leash free area (Dalgarno St)

• Binnaway, Sunday 7 November 2021 from 9:00am till 10:00am
Leash free area (Camp Ground)

• Coolah, Sunday 7 November 2021 from 11:00am till 12:00pm
Leash free area (Cnr Charles & Binnia St)

• Mendooran, Saturday 13 November 2021 from 9:00am till 10:00am
Leash free area (Riverside Camp Ground)

• Dunedoo, Saturday 13 November 2021 from 11:00am till 12:00pm
Leash free area (Milling Park)

“Make sure you get your pets microchipped so they can dial home,” concluded Cr Doolan.
