Tree Replacement - Mendooran

Tree planting at Mendooran is set to take place in the coming months. Several mature Fraxinus trees were removed from Bandulla Street late last year as their roots were causing damage to the road pavement and kerbside gutters.

Six mature Crepe Myrtle trees will be planted in the road reserve and will be surrounded by tree guards for protection.

Due to the recent upgrade of the bus stop infrastructure in Mendooran, three of the trees are not able to be planted where they were previously located.

To keep the community informed the details of the proposed locations for the trees can be found on Council’s Website under the ‘News’ Tab.
