Photography Competition, Pandora Art Gallery

The public is being urged to enter photos in the Pandora Art Gallery Photography Competition which is now open.

“This photography competition is a great opportunity for photography enthusiasts to get out and about across the Shire and capture the incredible things out region has to offer,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “This is an incredible and beautiful region with many opportunities for people to take photos of.”

“Particularly during this time of COVID and restrictions on travel, this is a great opportunity for us to explore our own back yard and the great things to see and do in Coolah and surrounding areas. Why not go for a hike in one of our many National Parks, camp under the stars or spend the day in a town you haven’t stopped in before and capture the beauty that surrounds us every day," said Cr Doolan.

“This competition is for all ages and all interests, with such broad range of categories to enter your photographs in, there will plenty of opportunity to showcase some unique and wonderful images of the region that we are so lucky to call home,” said Cr Doolan.

“The Pandora Art Gallery is run by a marvelous group of volunteers from Coolah Historic and Tourism Society (CHATS) and is a subcommittee of Coolah Development Group. They are working hard to showcase the beauty of Coolah and the surrounding districts and what a wonderful way to display this by hosting a photography competition where these images can be shared.”

“So, if you or someone you know, have captured some great shots from around the region and are wanting to show case them, now is your chance, get snapping and enter to win,” Cr Doolan concluded.
