Operating Hours for Waste Facilities Across the Warrumbungle LGA

Waste Facilities across the Warrumbungle Shire Local Government Area (LGA) have returned to normal operating hours.

“With the Warrumbungle LGA emerging from Stay-at-Home orders the operations at our waste facilities have been returned to normal” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “However, in line the with NSW Government advice to continue to limit travel, the Container Deposit Scheme in Coonabarabran and Dunedoo will remain closed.”

“Many people from other LGAs use the Warrumbungle Container Deposit Scheme and with a number of neighbouring local government areas and others in close proximity remaining under COVID-19 restrictions we have decided to keep this service closed and review the situation again later this week,” said Cr Doolan.
