New 2022 Warrumbungle Region Visitor Guide

Warrumbungle Shire Council is very excited to launch the 2022 Warrumbungle Region Visitor Guide, a travel brochure highlighting the beauty and experiences to be found in our backyard.

“This Visitor Guide is designed to inspire travellers to holiday in our stunning region and discover the amazing diversity the Warrumbungle Region has to offer,” said Warrumbungle Shire Council Mayor, Councillor Ambrose Doolan. “With interstate travel recommencing, residents are encouraged to pick up a copy of the new brochure for when friends and family visit.”

In the brochure there are suggested experiences and top 5 tips for each experience, self-guided day tours, ‘Tick it!’ fun list for the whole family, regional and town maps with interactive QR codes, events calendar and a Business Directory.

“The guide is an integral tool to drive visitation to the region, increase length of stay and encourage visitors to explore more of the region, such as the smaller towns that offer some hidden gems and unique experiences,” said Cr Doolan.

Collections points in towns across the Warrumbungle Shire have been arranged for travellers and residents to get their hands on a copy of the brochure. The collection points are:
• Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre
• Coolah Pandora Art Gallery
• Pilliga Forest Discovery Centre, Baradine
• Crackerz Bakery, Mendooran
• Exchange Hotel, Binnaway
• Dunedoo Library
• Warrumbungle National Park Visitor Information Centre

Copies of the Warrumbungle Region visitor guide will be distributed to visitor information centres, caravan and camping tradeshows and exhibitions, as well as surrounding airports for arriving guests. Business operators and organisations are welcome to get in contact with Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre to place a brochure order on Coonavic@warrumbungle.nsw.gov.au.
