Following the announcement of multiple positive cases in some neighbouring and nearby shires NSW Health have announced that those Local Government Areas are returning to or having their lockdowns extended. Currently those LGAs include Dubbo, Gunnedah, Muswellbrook and Lithgow. Under the stay at home rules, everyone must remain at home unless they have a reasonable excuse to leave. Reasonable excuses include: obtain food or other goods and services locally, leave home to go to work if you cannot reasonably work from home, exercise and take outdoor recreation and go out for medical or caring reasons, including obtaining a COVID-19 vaccination.
